Taris JK3files contest and JKG Taris Reveal

Last night all of the contest maps for the 2009 July/August mapping contest at JK3files. Sadly, we only had 4 entires... but no real bad ones none the less.

However, due to this contest being announced back in July, I thought it would be a perfect time to enter because the Jedi Knight Galaxies mod would eventually need a Taris Location/World. So, here it is as well as a JKG preview video of the map. More will most definitely come later.

Movie Battles II - Battle Over Coruscant Preview

In an attempt to keep everyone updated, here is another update on Movie Battles II. Similar to that of the Death Star RC2 preview, we now have a preview for Battle Over Coruscant by Darth NormaN.

Hopefully we will see a release for this beauty sometime in the future, just gotta pester Norman a bit more. :) For now, enjoy this little preview with some screenshots from the video!

Republic Cruiser - Data Core

Yes, Republic Cruiser is still in full production after so long. And I hope to finish it soon enough. Till then here is a small preview of the Data Core featured in the map.

This is a key area in both the Siege and Movie Battles II versions of the maps. It is a spawnpoint and a major intersection between 4 routes in the maps leading to extensive battles in this area. In addition to being in those 2 maps, this area is also featured in its own duel map as well as the full RC. Who knows, maybe I'll make more surroundings of this area creating a small FFA as well. We shall see in time. Special thanks to Plasma for one of his Crates, the texture for that crate as well as the carpet and the big lights on the wall. Thanks!

Today I was a little bored and found I had found a little heart beat audio file on my PC yesterday so I decided to create a small teaser for Movie Battles II

So in about 2 hours here is the result. There is mostly some traditional Movie Battles II footage, with a small preview at Battle Over Coruscant and Republic Cruiser
