Hello everyone! I have been pretty much fully accepted into the Movie Battles II team. With that, I have made my first fully compatable MBII map called MBII Revan Duel, it is based off the Leviathan Bridge Duel map I began a while ago, except with some different features and different look. Along with it being for MBII and the other being Base JKA. |
I also have started my
second Movie Battles 2 map called Leviathan Escape which the Rebels start
in the prison bay from the KotOR 1 Leviathan map and have to head to the
hanger bay and board/take off in the Ebon Hawk. Pictures for two of these maps will be updated shortly. The Star Forge is already up, if you follow the link above. Also I would like to say that the recent games being released/ or have been released have been awesome. First, I'll start with World In Conflict. WiC is a brand new RTS game about the USSR invading and attacking the US. The gameplay in both SP and MP is unmatched and fun as hell. Now on to Call of Duty 4, I did not have a chance to get the beta since I don't have a 360 and they did not release a PC one. But, the demo was a very fun SP mission about an abandoned Sherman that you had to go rescue, it didn't show much of the plot for the game itself; but the fighting was intense and fun like the CoD series has always been. They are set for a release on the 5th. Now, onto Crysis, the demo was relased on October 26th, the weekend I was on my way back from Italy. Once I got back I quickly tried the SP demo, its the same mission they have been showing for a while, but it was so fun. It offered so many different types of gameplay that is just unmatched thus far. None of it is scriped except maybe the objectives and cutscenes and placements of where the enemies spawn. Other than that its all dynamic. You can start and just shoot everything, or go onto a complete covert ops mode and attack from so many different directions that change the play each time. The Physics also play a good factor in that. The MP wise, I was impressed with the beta it was far more fun that I expected it to be originally. The game has now gone Gold, meaning they have stopped working on it and started making the disks for release on the 16th of November. These are all games I suggest you all get. With the addition of UT3 which seems very similar to Halos gameplay but with some additions, and nice tweaks ~Mace P.S. You also might have noticed I have been working on the site, please bare with me through the transition. Also there is an update on RC: I have begun redoing the layout and redoing some more areas. And Szico VII has given me some shader commands and command lines for the BSP which may help with my Black Plague problem. |
